building trades

On April 26th, the Home Builders Association of Sioux Falls hosted the "Frame my Future" event, aimed at providing students with an opportunity to explore the world of building trades. The event was organized to create awareness and address the issue of workforce development in the region.

Students were able to interact with industry professionals and learn about the various careers available in the construction industry. The event also provided hands-on experience, allowing students to try their hand at various building trades, including plumbing, electrical work, and carpentry.

Harrisburg High School and the Sioux Falls Career and Technical Education construction classes participated in this event. According to organizers, the event was a success, with many students expressing an interest in pursuing a career in the building trades.
