Horizon Elementary is proud to present its 2019-20 Student Council!
Led by Counselor, Renee Anderson, the Student Council consists of ten 4th and 5th grade learners that were selected by their peers. This year, 33 learners gave individual speeches to run for Student Council. It is exciting to have so much interest in leadership at Horizon!
Student Council involves a year-long commitment of collaboration for the benefit of both the school and local communities. Members represent the student body and work together on projects that develop leadership skills, with the ultimate goal of creating an atmosphere where every learner feels important and accepted.
