  • For any 8th grade girl interested in Competitive Dance there will be a meeting on April 10 in the gym during Advisory.
  • All girls soccer meeting on April 10 in the commons at 3:30 with Coach Dez.  This is for next year’s team, so 6th-8th grade girls are invited.
  • Mr. Novak has power hour duty this week, so there will be no after-school lessons.
  • 8th Graders who are auditioning for the HHS Symphonic Band, your audition is due Friday evening, and you must submit it via Google Classroom.  See Mr. Novak for the classroom code.
  • 7th Graders – Did you miss your chance to sign up for the DC/NY trip for the summer of 2018?  Great news!  There are still spots available!  Special pricing is also still available.  If you think you might want to go, see Mr. Dick ASAP!
  • Students, as a reminder, you are not allowed in the hallways in the morning without a hall pass.  Hallway passes can be found from the teacher in the commons after 7:40am.  If you cannot find someone to give you a pass, please wait patiently.  Don’t just come down the hallway.
  • There is boys soccer open gym every Tuesday from 8-9:30pm at SMS.
  • SF Stampede Kids Night, April 7.  More information on our website under the “Connect” page
  • There are LOTS of glasses in the office.  If you are having a hard time seeing in class or run into walls frequently, you may want to see if one of the pairs in the office is yours!
  • Students, just a reminder that ID badges will only be printed in the morning.  If you need a new badge printed, please bring your $5 to the office before or during advisory.
  • Students, please do not allow any person into the school.  Every person needs to sign-in through the office. Even if the person is banging on the door, do not let them in, instead grab a staff member.
  • 7th grade girls involved in the girls’ group, you are meeting on Tuesdays and Fridays in the videogame club room during 8th period.  If you are signed up for 7th grade girl’s group, please attend.
  • Do you have a staff member that you really appreciate?  Please nominate this staff member for the ‘Golden Goose’.  The Golden Goose recognizes one staff member each month who helps make the school a more positive place.  Nomination forms are available in Mrs. Atwood’s office.
  • Got any extra pop tabs laying around? Bring them in now through April 7th. They will be donated to the Ronald McDonald House to support families in need. Our school goal is nine pounds or three pounds per grade. Donate your pop tabs towards a greater cause. Don’t forget, Envy cans have pop tabs too. 8th grade is currently in the lead for the most pop tabs donated so far. Continue to bring in any pop tabs you have now through next Friday April 7th. Let’s support our local Ronald McDonald House!
  • All student council members please see Ms. Pettinger before the end of the day.

Happy Birthday: Colby R
